Description
Housed in the former Checker Taxi building, El Che Bar is Chef John Manion's spirited Argentine-American restaurant, a love letter to his time traveling throughout the country. In a warm and eclectic setting, the restaurant evokes the contemporary rhythms of Buenos Aires filtered through a local lens. The restaurant exudes an inviting vibe with sultry tones and subtle nods to South America throughout. A black marble bar gives a nod to elegance, in contrast with the raw open cooking space where Manion will hone in on serving wood-fired cuisine Al Asador. Locally sourced vegetables, grilled meats, and whole seafood will be cooked on the custom-built grills and chapas in an open hearth. The beverage program centers on spirits of the Americas with a focused and adventurous cocktail menu.
