Description
Permanently Closed.. Located at 2515 South Wabash, a short walk from the Cermak Green Line stop, and includes a 4,000 square-foot taproom, plus retail space.
The brewery features a 20HL mash filter system, among the first of its kind in the Chicagoland area. The building, erected in 1928 as a repair depot for an Oldsmobile dealer on Motor Row features breath-taking bow-truss architecture. The taproom overlooks the brewery floor, offering stunning views of the brewery equipment and wooden bow-trusses; the space is also perfect for private events.
Baderbräu brews crushable, flavorful, and affordable craft beers for the Chicagoland market. It's flagship, Baderbräu Chicago Pilsener, was revived from the original classic recipe. Baderbräu also brews other notable beers including Lawnmower Lager IPL, Okotberfest and Red Velvet Bock.
Founded by longtime home brewer Rob Sama, the Baderbräu brewing team is led by Nathan Tertell, an alumni of Two Brothers and most recently, Lagunitas.
The brewery is available for private events throughout the year and partners with Venue Logic for all management and catering needs.
