Mac’s Wood Grilled Mac & Cheese Madness

Mac’s augments the normal Mac & Cheese lineup with a trio of specials Thursday, March 20 through Monday, April 7, which coincides with the men’s college basketball tournament. Mac’s Mac Madness lineup lists a Philly Cheesesteak Mac, with thinly sliced sirloin steak, caramelized onions, and mozzarella cheese ($16); a Mexi-Mac, with seasoned ground beef, pepper jack cheese, salsa verde, and pico de gallo ($17); and a Buffalo Chicken Mac, with fried chicken tenders, housemade Buffalo sauce, crumbled blue cheese, and bacon bits ($17). All three Mac & Cheese specials feature a base of cavatappi pasta and housemade cheese sauce. The specials are offered daily during normal kitchen hours (3-11 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, 11 a.m.-midnight Thursday-Saturday, and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday).
