Tickets are on sale now at the Hammond Civic Center Business Office for $15 each, which includes food and live entertainment. This colorful gala features fantastic Mexican cuisine by El Gran Taco Mexican Grill, served from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. The menu this year consists of shredded chicken in mole sauce, diced pork ribs in green salsa stew, stuffed poblano peppers, vegan and vegetarian tamales, rice, beans, chips and salsa. Children’s meals are available for $5 each, consisting of hard shell tacos filled with shredded chicken and cheesy potatoes or quesadillas on flour tortilla, rice and beans. This year’s entertainment is Ballet Folkorico Fiesta Mexicana will perform from 5:45-6:20pm, Mariachi Sirenas from 6:30-7:30 pm with the very popular band Together will close out the evening. A cash bar is available and serving Bud Light, Corona and Bud Light Margaritas in lime and strawberry.
