Homebrewers' Pride of the Southside is proud to announce the return of our annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, Sept 28, 2024 at the VFW 5079 in Bridgeport. Come join us for an afternoon of great beer and good times.
The Chicago Homebrewers’ Pride of the Southside annual Oktoberfest has become one of the most widely-anticipated craft and homebrew beer festivals in the city. Dozens of different craft and homebrew beers will be featured along with a complimentary feast of grilled meats, sausages, sides and more.
Must be 21 to attend. No children or pets allowed.
There will be HOPS! members around, including many with BJCP expertise, who are happy to share beer advice, brewing knowledge, style critique, and tell you how to start home brewing. HOPS! was founded in 1995 and is one of Chicago's oldest homebrew and beer appreciation clubs.
